FIFA Confederation Cup starts a year before the World Cup. Russia plays host to the FIFA Confederation Cup 2017 for eight national teams: reigning world champion, Russian and six national teams, continental champions (UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, CAF, AFC, OFC).
FIFA Confederation Cup 2017 will be from June the 17th through July the 2nd. Host cities are Moscow (Spartak Stadium), St. Petersburg (stadium Zenit Arena), Kazan (stadium Kazan Arena), and Sochi (Fisht stadium).
